A blend with elastane (spandex) for stretch and recovery: nylon-spandex or cotton-spandex. Power mesh for support bands. Lace or mesh for breathability. Cotton-rich for comfort.
Bralette: light support, no underwire, often unlined. Sports bra: high support for athletic activity, encapsulation or compression design, moisture-wicking fabric.
A high-elastane powernet or specialty fabric (40-60% elastane) that provides strong compression with comfort. Nylon-elastane or polyester-elastane for moisture management.
Polyester-elastane (PBT or spandex) or nylon-elastane. Nylon is softer and more luxurious; polyester is more chlorine-resistant. 18-20% elastane is typical for active swimwear.
